Wutai Mountain is a Buddhist retreat center in Eastern Kansas named after one of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains. Wutai Mountain China is the reputed home of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom and a place where "all sects live in harmonious existence".

In this spirit of enlightened harmony, we draw from the full tradition of Asian Buddhism with a special emphasis on Mahayana Buddhism and the Tibetan Dzogchen tradition. Our approach is philosophical, open, contemplative and inclusive.

Those in the Kansas City area, can join us the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10AM to 12 Noon in Classroom C at Unity on the Plaza for our current Dzogchen group class which is going over various core Dzogchen texts.
